I would recommend they share the policy documents via email upon registration to avoid this in the future. It's also useful to know that you can cancel up to 24hrs in advance by emailing the practice or leaving a message - you don't need to wait until they open on a Monday morning.Jade has promised that there will be training on the use of safety goggles.Thanks so much - all this effort, and such a positive response, is very much appreciated.Initial review:Sadly, I'm not impressed by this dentist. Initially I had really excellent support from Jade on the front desk, and I was feeling good about signing up as a patient, despite being forced to go private because of the lack of NHS options.The dentist who treated me identified two cavities which hadn't been giving me any trouble. Treatment for the first one has left me with new pain and continual discomfort. One other red flag was that they didn't have any protective goggles when I was receiving treatment and they asked me to wear my own sunglasses.I had to miss the appointment for the second filling due to a vomiting bug, but was still charged the full price. I can understand if this is the policy, but I can find no evidence of it in any of the paperwork they emailed me, or on the online portal. I asked them to call me back to explain the policy and to provide evidence that this had been shared with me, specifically asking for Jade since she had been so helpful the first time around. Treatment was fine, roughly on-time and ok generally. No tissues provided and usual bib was just a piece of paper which kept falling off my chest. . Reception staff were seen to flag up with two clients, payments which they couldn’t account for. Whilst the amounts were not massive, they were explained without evidence as possibly underpayments for works up to four years ago. If that was the case why weren’t they noticed at the previous visit. My additional payment was not explained to my satisfaction. I paid it but it was evidence of some sloppy administration in the past. Hoping my next visit is more confidence boosting and that environment fully complete.”

But that's where it ended the Dentist was a emergency dentist he hit nerves two times he's drill was catching and rubbing on my low lip left side while drilling two teeth. “I just want to start by saying that, even though I seem to have a different dentist and hygienist every...” time I visit recently, the dentist who carried out my dental checkup was great.The staff in reception were also very nice and helpful with my mother who is elderly. The staff in general are lovely.However, what has happened to the waiting room? It used to be a decent size with comfortable sofas and magazines to read (as a waiting room should be). It's now a tiny room with very uncomfortable seats and paper thin walls, you can actually hear other people's conversations in other rooms which should really be private. It's now as cold, uncomfortable and depressing as any waiting room in any hospital, it's such a shame.”
